Account Information

  • Name and email address
  • Encrypted password (bcrypt hashing)
  • Subscription information (processed securely via Stripe)

Connected Platform Data

  • Message content
  • Sender names and profile information
  • Timestamps and conversation metadata

Access occurs only after explicit authorization through official Meta OAuth login flows. We do not access personal accounts or bypass platform security mechanisms.

Technical Information

  • IP address
  • Device and browser information
  • System logs and usage data

3. How We Use Information

Service Delivery

Social Inbox does not initiate automated messaging, bulk outreach, scraping, or unsolicited engagement without direct manual user action.

4. Third-Party Services

Meta Platforms

We integrate using official APIs for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Business. Authentication is handled directly by Meta via OAuth.

Users may revoke access at any time via:
Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations → Remove App

Stripe

Payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card details.

5. Data Security

  • TLS/SSL encrypted transmission
  • Encrypted authentication tokens

6. Data Retention

Account Data: Retained while active. Deleted within 30 days of verified deletion request.

Message Data: Cached temporarily for dashboard functionality. Original data remains on respective platforms.

Payment Records: Retained as required by law (up to 7 years).
